After the March

Course: SMAD 231: Writing for New Media

Date: Spring 2017

About: After the March is a digital storytelling piece that chronicles the journey of women's groups following the historic 2016 Women's March on Washington. Through interviews, embedded maps, and my own firsthand experiences I try to plot the course of what has happened after the march and where these groups will journey to in the future. In 2018, this piece won the Whitten Maher Memorial Scholarship prize. This piece was created with Atavist, all content is my own unless noted otherwise.
