A custom brand identity created for the James Madison University Media Arts and Design Department's annual career fair. Logo, colors, and design style was implemented across promotional emails, posters, web graphics, and more.
As part of SMAD 404, I created a website to house a journalism piece called "Neighbor: Genesis of a Sign." The story spans several pages and includes an interactive timeline and custom Google map embed.
The Bluestone is a Pacemaker award winning publication that yearly totals over 300 pages. This cover design was created in my position of Design Editor, where I oversaw the design direction of the entire book. The cover was designed around the theme "Uncommon" which focused on the unique aspects of life at James Madison University.
This non-fiction piece was created through interviews, research, and my own firsthand experiences at the 2017 Women's March on Washington. The digital storytelling tool Atavist was used to interweve multimedia elements with a narrative story. This piece was the winning submission for the Whitten Maher Memorial Scholarship in 2018.
