Good Life Insurance has a web app so their customers can complete transactions and requests easily online. Over the course of a few months I worked to design a brand new experience for site visitors that brought to the forefront the content users were looking for.
When Good Life Insurance first started their member portal they only had one plan users could purchase and the actions they could take online were limited. Since the information was short and sweet, all of the user’s plan info fit nicely on the profile page.
Luckily, Good Life Insurance’s business had really blossomed since and they expanded not only their suite of products but also enhanced the ability for users to make changes online. Unfortunately, this led to a cluttered and confusing experience as features were added without reevaluating the space constraints and needs of the user.
As a designer in the Government and Public Services practice at Deloitte I get to bring creative design solutions to federal and state clients. It's rewarding to get to make products that help support our citizens, but it also means that sometimes the details of those projects have to stay under wraps. Good Life Insurance is a real client, but their name has been changed to anonymize this project.
There's much more to this project that I can't share publicly. If I've sent you a password to read more you can enter that by pressing the button below. If you have any questions, just shoot me an email.Read Solution
